Coaches' Corner

Register to Coach NOW!

Now is the time to register to be a coach for the 2020 season. Just go through the same registration process as used for player registration.

For registered coaches looking for a few pointers on running practices and/or drills, you are encouraged to attend our Sunday Clinics to observe and/or volunteer to help out. We'll cover a variety of fundamental softball skills, and it is a great way to either learn the basics of the game or brush up on your skills.

We depend on the help of our volunteer coaches to make our season a success. If you have any questions about volunteering as a head coach, assistant coach or a parent volunteer, please contact the CBGSA Board.

Thank you to our sponsors!

We want to thank Business Interiors and Equipment for the support with our registration. BIE produced and provided for us our paper information forms that went out to all our area schools. Thank You BIE!

A big thanks goes out to Michelle Boetger Graphic Design for the design and formatting of our Discount Cards. The new layout and bright logos really make our card stand out!

Upcoming Events:
Posted Apr 16, 2018

CBGSA will postpone our season through Easter (April 12) due to the coronavirus pandemic & school closures.  The week following, the board will assess the situation, talk things out and see where the county/state/nation are at that point.  Our decision will be announced the following week (April 20).

If we move forward, the coaches meeting will be at the end of the week and the season will run the final 8 weeks of school, starting the week kids go back to school (April 27).  The season will consist of 2 weeks of practice and 6 weeks of games (only 1 week of practice will be lost from our original schedule).

If the decision is to cancel the season at that point, we will issue full refunds.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding in this unprecedented situation.

It is our mission to provide all girls ages 5 to 14, a recreational opportunity and learning environment to develop skills in team work, sportsmanship, and responsibility with social interaction.

While we have a very dedicated group of volunteer board members, we are always looking for more help or to bring new members on board. If you are interested in volunteering with CBGSA, please contact any board member to inquire about opportunities.
